Hello Seattle peeps!

What's going on in the city as far as the ZM? I've been coordinating the Houston, Texas subchapter of the ZM since January, but lost my job in Houston and I've landed here! I'm still looking for employment, but I'm ready to give Seattle and WA all that energy I was using to stir things up in the South. How can I best help? I'm willing to coordinate Seattle as a city, however, a local person may be best suited. In any case, I'll be on the TS3 meetings for WA starting this Wednesday. Looking forward to speaking with you guys and gals, meeting in person July 18th, and getting some events and activities planned to take advantage of the summer months! Everyone is outside and we should be too!

Much love and peace ~
Karen

Many welcomes! I am on the desert side of the state, but I'm sure everyone will be welcoming you with open arms! I think we can all use a push or even just a nudge sometimes to stay motivated and get involved. There are so many distractions that are circulating around us and that we initiate ourselves at times. On behalf of the lone Tri-Cities Area chapter member --I am pleased to see more people that have experience within TZM looking to contribute in my proximity! I'll be on TS3 Wednesday as well.

@ BoomBrusher - Thanks for the warm welcome! Looking forward to hearing about your area and brainstorming possible ways to get the word out.

@ Zeit Guy - I guess you exposed me, I did write that article. If you have any questions/comments on it I welcome any and all, especially criticisms which are especially helpful in refining ideas and thoughts. I'm in the process of writing several more articles while I am still on my job search Why not occupy my unemployment with something useful, right?

That's great! I enjoyed your article very much, it was a very easy read. You have a nice flow. I liked the way you observed so calmly, or scientifically, how your car stereo got 'ganked'. and your reaction to it. Talk about taking a lemon and making lemon-aid. Very nice. I thought people quit yankin' car stereos years ago. Tough neighborhood I'm guessing. Welcome to Seattle. It's usually pretty safe around here, Usually. Unless the WTO's in town.

I'll be looking forward to reading more from you. thanks for your contribution.
