Snohomish Adopts a Highway

Great Job Snohomish County Sub Chapter, with the Adopt a Highway Program!
We registered this stretch of road and actually had our first pick up 3 months ago, but they didn't have the sign up yet. We got pictures then, but with no sign. We just made our second cleanup and got pictures with the sign up this time. This location really is a dream come true! It's not an interstate, but it gets a lot of traffic, as people go to and from work daily. The sign in the picture is viewable from the traffic light behind the guy taking the picture. The other sign is up the hill 2 and half miles away, and again, right across from another traffic light.
If you have the adopt a highway program in your area, this is a great way to get excellent free advertising, and it makes us look good in the process, by supporting a good cause that is personal to those who see it. Becoming the change we want to see in the world.
The location is on Highway 9 in South Snohomish. It starts at Marsh road and goes about 2 and half miles headed south, part way up the hill.
