Rhode Island ZM Chapter Introduction
The term "Zeitgeist" can be defined as: The intellectual, moral and cultural climate of an era. The term "movement" implies motion or change. The Zeitgeist Movement is thus an organization that urges change in the intellectual, moral and cultural climate of the time. Specifically, to values and practices that would better serve the well-being of the whole of humanity, regardless of race, religion, title or other forms of contrived social status.
The Zeitgeist Movement (TZM) is the educational, communication and activitst arm of The Venus Project, which is essentially a conceptual and technological set of ideas based on the life-long work of Social Engeneer and Industrial Designer, Jacque Fresco. (You will find video interviews with him throughout this site.) This website contains resources, forums and further information about the movement and The Venus Project itself.
