The role of the Oklahoma chapter, as well as all chapters, is to inspire communication and hold member/awareness events in the state, while also posting any news/info that might occur on the site. Initially the Oklahoma Chapter will serve as a center for new members of the Zeitgeist Movement to coordinate with others. The Oklahoma Chapter will serve as a resource center of information and networking for ZM activist. Using information from the two Zeitgeist films and the movement's slide presentations, this site will provide videos, articles, and discussions to elaborate about the tenants of the Zeitgeist Movement for residents of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Chapter has been established in September of 2009 and is still in its first stages of development. There have been approximately 80,000,000 views of the Zeitgeist films over the internet alone. Yet only 330,000 members have joined the movement at the global site. Most viewers of the Zeitgeist films are supportive of the ideas for a world without sacarcity and corruption, but are unaware of the movement of inspired individuals dedicated to changing the current 'zeitgeist' or the modern perspective that allows the system to continue. The Oklahoma chapter will unite us and inform each other for ideas of activites in neighboring cities. Please join us, we have strength in numbers; communication is the tool for efficient progress. Twice the number a new chapter gets after one month being active. The Oklahoma Chapter needs an initiator to stir up activity in the state, promote communication, and recruitment.
