Welcome to the Nevada State Zeitgeist Chapter

Based on principles of environmental alignment and use of the scientific method applied toward social and environmental concern, we are advocating a socially just, sustainable and peaceful way of life. This is referred to as the Resource-Based Economy as proposed by Jacque Fresco, creator of The Venus Project. At this time, our single most important goal with the Zeitgeist Movement is to spread the message of the Venus Project. The best, most active way that any individual can assist in spreading this message is to become involved in their own local chapter. It is the local chapters in every city and town where the real actions takes place. Where people can get involved within their very own community.

If you do not see a chapter in your city or town, then we urge you to take an active roll by starting one so that others can join you in spreading this message at this critical time in our history. To learn more about how you can begin a chapter of your own please review our CHAPTER GUIDE.

Zeitgeist: Addendum premiered at the 5th Annual Artivist Film Festival in Los Angeles, California on October 2, 2008, winning their highest award. It was released free online on October 4, 2008. Director Peter Joseph stated: "The failure of our world to resolve the issues of war, poverty, and corruption, rests within a gross ignorance about what guides human behavior to begin with. It addresses the true source of the instability in our society, while offering the only fundamental, long-term solution."
