Announcing a new Meetup for The Zeitgeist Movement-MA chapter!
What: Zday Social at Rob's place
When: Saturday, March 13, 2010 5:00 PM
Where: Rob's place in Saugus, MA 01906 (address and more info at meetup.com)

It is a 3 story house with misc. metal sculptures around it. There will also be a large banner on the roof, you can't miss it. :-) People are welcome to bring things and guests. As Rob says "mi casa es su casa". This is a social gathering to exchange ideas, information and meet other members that cannot make it to Zday in NYC this year. Thanks to member Rob Verpault for hosting this at his residence.

First meeting scheduled and you can RSVP now!

Thanks to Amanda's creation, we now have a place to help organize and facilitate our local events.  We have chosen to implement a Meetup.com group and I wanted to extend an invitation for everyone to join by going here.  For those of you who are not familiar with Meetup.com, it is a portal that offers groups of all sorts the ability to organize, facilitate, and plan their local meetings. The site is well organized, hassle free, and even connects with your Facebook if you wish your RSVP's to be posted there.  So please run along and RSVP to our first meetup scheduled for Saturday February 13th!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Zeitgeist MA Chapter website! I think it is safe to say that we have all waited long enough to establish our presence within MA. While this site is relatively barren at the moment, you can plan on seeing more updates and developments in the coming weeks. I am unsure of the direction and role that this individual website will have in our future but I am certain that MA is primed and ready to create a growing influence within the global Zeitgeist Movement. In the meantime, you may also want to check out the Facebook group which offers an easier interface to meet others, network with each other, discuss topics, etc. Thanks to Mike for creating the FB group!

Having just recently been given the "keys" to this website, I would like to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Mark and for the time being it looks like I'm responsible for helping to keep this site up to date and facilitating activism within good ol' Massachusetts. I have only a limited experience with community organizing, web-design, and related disciplines but I have been a supporter of the Zeitgeist Movement since its inception and feel knowledgeable and passionate about our direction. With that said, I am not only welcoming collaboration, community, suggestions, delegation of tasks, etc....but I would very much appreciate anything you would like to offer. I think we can all bring something positive and valuable to this movement and together, I believe that we can become a significant force within the Zeitgeist Movement.

Hi there! We're just starting up a Massachusetts chapter, so more will be available in time.

If this is your first time stumbling across Zeitgeist, be sure to watch Addendum and the orientation video, both of which are available over to the right.

We're trying to get some members together so we can hopefully start planning meetings and events. Be sure to join if you're in the area and subscribe to the newsletter(these will be coming soon!).
